Booking Terms
Welcome to FarmEquipRent. Our platform offers a flexible and secure way to rent agricultural machinery. Below are the detailed terms related to the booking and payment processes:
1. Booking via Calendar System
Booking Request: When a Renter selects a machine and uses our booking calendar, the system sends a request to the Owner of the machine.
Owner Confirmation: The Owner has the option to either confirm or reject the booking request. If the booking is rejected, it will automatically be canceled. If the booking is confirmed, an invoice will be generated.
Invoice and Payment:
- Invoice to the Renter: Once the booking is confirmed, FarmEquipRent will issue an invoice to the Renter for the 10% of the total rental amount, After the renting it will be issued another invoice including the rest of the amount and platform’s service fee.
- Invoice to the Owner: After the payment is made by the Renter, FarmEquipRent will issue a second invoice to the Owner. This invoice reflects the rental price of the machine minus the platform’s service fee.
The business will only retain the service fee for managing the platform and ensuring smooth transactions. The FarmEquipRent platform is committed to transferring the rental payment to the machine’s Owner after deducting our fee.
Final Confirmation: Once the Renter has successfully made the payment, the booking will be confirmed at 100%. The Renter and Owner will then coordinate the delivery or pick-up of the machine.
2. Booking via Contact Form
If a Renter chooses to book a machine using the contact form, the following conditions apply:
Direct Communication: The Renter and Owner will be connected through an internal messaging system on our platform. They can discuss all details related to the rental, such as machine availability, terms, and conditions.
Payment & Invoicing: Unlike the calendar booking system, the payment, invoicing, and rental terms will be handled directly between the Renter and the Owner. FarmEquipRent is not responsible for facilitating or overseeing payments or rental agreements made through this channel.
Machine Conservation & Liability: In the case of direct booking via contact form, FarmEquipRent will not be responsible for any issues regarding the condition or maintenance of the machine, payment disputes, or any other agreements made between the Renter and Owner. Our responsibility is limited to managing the platform and ensuring its proper functionality.
3. Important Notes
FarmEquipRent will not be held responsible for any disputes or issues that arise between Renters and Owners in relation to the machine’s condition, usage, or rental payments.
Refunds and cancellations: In case of cancellations after the Owner has confirmed the booking and payment has been made, FarmEquipRent will retain the service fee, while any refund for the rental amount will be handled between the Renter and the Owner.
